Not every project has to be huge. This restoration of a sculpture damaged in high winds was an absolute pleasure. We were able to keep it close to the original artists work and then seal with marine grade product. The addition of a rusted plow disc base plate will give much needed stability too.

I love repeat clients, and this time they chose an Emerald Green epoxy infill. Matching bed and bedside tables, all Mountain Gum, Oakfield Clear for the Epoxy and finished in one of my favourites – Rubio Monocoat . Heavy duty steel frame and slats made in house too. Also pictured is the previous adjustable TV Unit or shelf, with the fire red epoxy river.

It’s been many weeks in the making but here it is ready to use. It’s been a pleasure helping the guys with this project. And thanks to Dayne at Health of Mind Art is due as well. Hope your Friday finishes with something great too.

In response to a cheeky post on Instagram a few manufacturers of epoxy actually sent me some free samples to test. This has been an interesting journey and I’ll admit to learning nearly as much in the past weeks as I have in the few years leading up to it.

A picture is worth a thousand words.
